Jane Duong Photography

Cyscapes is an exhibition of cyanotype prints by Jane Duong. Cyanotypes dates back to the dawn of photography and invented by astronomer Sir John Herschel in 1842. Cyanotype prints are created with the use of two chemicals (ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide) coated on paper, UV light and water to develop and fix.

Cyscapes is an examination of our rapidly changing world and the evolving landscape, nature, life and peace – through the magic and coincidence that comes with the cyanotype process. Each print is handmade and was created in bodies of water found at the Jerrabomberra wetlands and the Cork Oak forest at the National Arboretum Canberra.
